DESCRIPTION
Vortex trichome separator is a device or tool designed to separate trichomes from plant material, typically cannabis or hemp. Trichomes are the tiny, resinous structures on the surface of the plant that contain cannabinoids, terpenes, and other compounds responsible for the plant’s therapeutic and psychoactive effects.
In the context of cannabis or hemp processing, trichome separation is often a step in the extraction process to isolate the valuable compounds for various purposes, such as making concentrates, oils, or other cannabis products. Trichome separators can use different methods, including mechanical agitation or sieving, to separate trichomes from the plant material, resulting in a more concentrated product with a higher potency of cannabinoids.
Working principle: When working, a layer of filter screen will be placed inside the shell, covered with ice cubes and the plants to be extracted, and then another layer of filter screen will be placed. The motor drives the transmission assembly, thereby driving the rotating body, and a vortex is formed inside the shell, thereby forming a strong stirring force. In the absence of plant particle contamination, the trichomes are quickly separated from the plants and remain in the water as suspended insoluble solids. Once the slurry mixture of water and trichomes is separated from the remaining biomass, it can be easily filtered, separated, collected and dried to obtain high-quality hash.
